Jeff can be a giant contrary pain in therump but I don't know anyone whoin three or four years of deer huntinghas amassed so much good info. He can be a pot stirrer but so what.

I'm betting he is not looking real hard for a job right now and why should he. Life is very short.

Brknarrow is here hunting with me today. I'm gonna put him in this exact spot this afternoon.....on a WNW wind. I'm gonna head south of him and try my luck in one of the funnels below here.

I put Frank in a goo dlittle funnel this morning....and I went back to a spot I'd never hunted in a 15 acre woodlot. He didn't see any.....but I saw 6 (I could see) and had a small herd under me in the darkness. I found a GREAT new spot for a WNW morning sit.....I just screwed up my being a little too far N in the woodlot. If I'd been 30yds to the south.....we'd probably be at the skinning pole, right now.

We hunt and learn;)
