Double Doeski in MO
#11
We got to the tree really late last night lol. I had to work late so we finally got setup at 5:50 with sunset being 7:12 or something
I had just gotten settled in and Mike said "right here, right here!" I turned and saw about 5 does with 2 being mature ones. Mike smoked the first mature one and she ran about 80 yardsbefore pilingup in the field. The other 4 scattered out into the middle of the field and looked around. We then switched while Mike started filming ad I was the hunter. 3 of the does that were still in the field walked straight back to our tree. I drilled the mature one at 20 yards and she ran about 90 yards before piling up 10 yards away from Mike's doe! We then started to pack up at about 6:40 and looked over and here comes another doe! We set everything up really quick while the doe walked in at 20 yards. Somehow I missed and shot right over her back lol. We then got out of the tree and retrieved the 2 we already had on the ground! It was a great hunt!
