Default Fawn Distress Bleat

I have been hearing a lot about fawn distress bleats for early season. I was wondering anyone had advice on their use or success stories to share.

I have stopped 1 doe with a fawn bleat that allowed me to kill the buck. I always carry one. What have you go to lose. If his mind is on that doe he sure aint gonna stop for anything else.

So which was it?

What kind of animal would you be seeking to attract?

I have used a can call with great success in the past. I generally use it while hunting on the ground. Once it brought in a doe 10 ft behind me.

I have used one on several occasions. In more than half of the cases, I have had doe run (and I mean, like it was their job) to me. I think they are great, but only in the early season.

Absolutely!. If the does still have fawns hanging around and you want some meat in the freezer early then a fawn distress call is a must have in the early season.

Like Gundeck I have used them successfullyand will ALWAYS have adedicated fawn specificbleat (not the ones that do all deer vocalizations)around my neck in the early bow season. Does will come running straight to you looking for that fawn or looking to stomp the crap out of what ever is attacking that fawn. Many times the will come in to just a couple of yards. You gotta be ready to take the shot.
