The best way to tell weather is stick your head out the door

To be honest trying to predict what the weather will do is an extraordinarily complex process. I'm surprised that weather reports are as accurate as they are at times, with everything that goes into it, I wouldn't be surprised one bit to see them wrong more often.

Trying to plan stand sites more than 24hour sin advance is hit or miss. We've had a NNE wind here for the past two weeks....and that's unusual.
I FINALLY (hopefully[8D]) get a NNW wind, tomorrow....and I can hunt a new woodlot for the FIRST time.
Optimistic
I have a wind direction vane (sp?) on my storage shed that I trust way more than any weather man.

It can change many times during that time span.
My advise would be to have a few different stand locations ready to go at any given time whichwork with different winds.

Well I can guarantee.....It will be between 0 and 100 degrees farenheit. Some wind from somehwere....With moisture in the form of humidity, rain, clouds, or just sweat. Damn....I should be a weather man. I am more specific than most of em.
