I'm going on what Matt/PA says aboutnot worrying about bone crushing, lets make a good shot with a big hole....

I'll say it again for anyone who wants to listen. Do not choose your broadheads based upon whether they can "break a shoulder". Shoot one that will do the most damage and still be within reason for the amount of energy your bow puts out. Namebrands aside.........that's irrelevant. For example, If you are shooting 80ftlbs of KE, don't waste that enegy on a 1" cutting diameter fixed head.
2 3/4" They can be shot without the fixed blades, the reviews are decent. Why not? If you could get them to fly correctly, why not? And just say for the sake of argument, based on reviews the blades seem weak, so lets say they are a little stronger.

If your set-up can do it, why not?

if the blades were stout enough...there isnt a reason not too. but i dont see those long of blades ever being stout enough for big game imo...could be dead wrong.

That is already akiller turkey bh though.

why stop there though? why not 4" diameter spear points if they can fly well? Pretty far fetched comparison I know, but Gotta eventually draw the line somewhere...

If you've got the KE? Go for it. But I don't think I do.

Also, I don't think those blades would be able to make more than one trip through an animal without getting messed up.

It does look like an awesome turkey head though, like Trevor said.

I cant see using them on deer unless youre a neck shooter or spinal taper. I can see that theyd make one hell of a turkey head though. Was wondering how long it would be before we saw a fixed balded mechanical on the market. Now I want to see some 5 and 6 blade broad heads.

Same size hole. I'll be trying these out this year.
