Isn't there a model for 2009 called the "CRACKED LIMB"? oh wait that was a 2008 model Mathews............ "CATCH US IF YOU CAN" I was THE Mathews psoter boy...all my clothes, multiple bows, decals, hats.....Switchback, Apex 7, 2 Prestiges.....the WHOLE 9..... Last fall I got a WILD hair up my ass and bought a used Guardian to shock my buddy...he was in Kansas on a hunt and is a longtime Bowtech shooter... I absolutely fell in love with the Guardian...with Bowtech period... I now have a 101st and love that too... You simply can not compare Mathews to Bowtech - they are 2 completely DIFFERENT animals...now if you want to compare anything - compare Mathews and DIAMOND...both single cammed bows... The solocam simply, and I say with alot of experience with both....can NOT compete with the binary cam. We wont even discuss the other components like FACTORY strings, grips, and finish..... So...since we are throwing out mottos...."Refuse to Follow!" |

I am not in the market for a new bow this year, but if I was, I would really be leaning towards the Captain.

How come you dont have slim limbs on your switchback? O yeah i remember unlike bowtech mathews didnt develop slim limbs until there drenalin? Only two years after bowtech had slim limbs on there 06 models. I mean two years isnt that bad maybe ina couple years they will developcenter pivot technology. Whos caught who?
Im not loyal to any company just stating facts. I dont know what ill be shooting next year. |

I Love the new designs for '09. IMO Bowtech has blown away the competition so much that no one will be catching them soon. Mathews is still stuck in the 90's as far as technology goes. Bowtech offers so many features that people don't see until they shoot the bows first hand. Things like Invelvet, center pivot bows, no press technology, etc... I really think Bowtech has come along way is such short time that noone else compares to them.
