Going Schultzy style--anyone use these?

My best friend uses them with much success.
I've tracked a lot of animals he's shot with them, they are great heads. And have proven effective out of his bow.

Thanks MN---I like the look of them and have heard they are tough and durable. Plus they don't cost $12-$15 a head...just like 4-5 bucks a head.

I started using them this season out of my Longbow! I can't wait to send one thru a deer. It takes a bit to get them razor sharp but well worth it! Lifetime warranty, ya gotta love. Send the head in and they will send you new ones, no questions!!!!!!!

I'll be shooting them from my Black widow recurve...the 150gr screw in model.
Like was mentioned they are a little touchy to sharpen but once you get the hang of it you can get them shaving sharp. I actually shot my very first buck with one of these 18 years ago so they hold a soft spot for me.

Thanks Matt...to me, there is something nostalgic about fixed blade heads and some of them have a certain look that just feels right to me....I am excited to shoot the Magnus Snuffers. I have been shooting the G5 Montecs the last week or so and like them, but not for $13 a head.

I ordered some Magnus Snuffers and am going to try them out
Here's the crock sticks that I use. The white crocks are the fine ones, the darker the crocks the more coarse they are.

Sharpening 2 blades at once.

The finished product. Your right, they do look mean and trust me they are tough!!!

I shoot them out of the compound, recurve and longbow. Mainly because I like to find somthing that works and stick with it. I am sure once you get them sharp you will be happy with them.
