I don't hunt over the corn. Those bucks are just a little too small for me.

I figured it would not take long for someone to mention the corn. You must be from a state that does not allow bait. You know, i live in NC and we can bait. I do because i hunt with one purpose. To put meat in the freezer and that means does. Dont get me wrong, i will shoot a trophy if it walks buy but i dont chase horns. I think bucks taste nasty compared to a doe so if i do shoot one, i take the meat to Hunters for the Hungry. Basically all i shoot is does so, i use bait when i go fishing and i use bait when i go hunting. I am not a rich man so if i can use a little corn to put a couple hundred pounds of meat in the freezer then that means i dont have to go to the store and buy a couple hundred pounds of meat which translates into more things for my family.
