So your MB "H" measurements were less than 1"/ea?

Yeah...that pic IS deceiving (if the spread is only 2"). It looks to be 4 or more.

I'm just trying to make sure everyone (for the contest) realizes that it's damned hard to score less than 20" We were talking about it this weekend. If you figure 4" MB's.....1"/ea on "H" measurements....and a 4" spread.....you've got a 20" buck.

Not saying yours is....but it sure looks bigger than that.

Congrats again on your bowkill
How do you figure..?

LMB 4"
RMB 4"
Spread 4"
H measurement 1"
H measurement 1"
--------------------
14"

14" = 20"
4 H measurements per side.

yup any rack gets all 4 h measurements..regardless the number of points.

I think the technical way to measure a spike is to measure it half way up, and multiply that number x 4 for each side...rather than taking 4 different h measurements for each.

i could be wrong on how to measure them though.

Okay good to know. Question. If I am trying to score a 4 point then, I understand where my H1 and H2 come from.. but where do I get my H3 and H4? Just use my H2 measurements for H2,H3 and H4..?

Cause The score is less than Stellar, besides, The replacement seems to have his act together, bigtime, good pick for the team. Its more for the memory to me, rather than the Bragging rights, I got 40 pictures of him for crying out loud! I'll never forget this hunt as long as i live from the freezing cold to me about crying in a tree after i shot him.... I get a little excited (Stan potts comes to mind)

Yuns guys have to read the story I was freaking out!!

Ryan.
Ok, I am happy you got a deer and all, but this isn't right...so basically, were "culling" deer now? If I or one of my teamates shoots a deer that doesn't score good enough, we can replace them with someone who may or maynot score higher? This is sending the wrong message IMO.
