LOL. I think some guys put the first 3 digit number that comes to mind sometimes.As an educated guess here is my rough estimate rounded down to the nearest half inch:

R L
G1 3.5 4
G2 99
G3 65.5
Beam 20 20 (can't really see it so I'll match the right)
H1 44
H23.5 3.5
H3 3 3
H22 2
Sub51 51
Spread 16

Total 118

That's a good looking buck. He'd be getting a shot from me.
20 inch inch beam?? 16 spread?? check your prescription bro,not even close.
Grow up. All you have proven is a lack of maturity. Where are your estimates coming from? I look at the ear running along the right antler and see that it goes out to the bend. The ear on a whitetail buck is 7-8" in length. Out past the bend the beam goes about 1.5 times the length it goes out on this buck. That is 20".

Since you're so astute at estimating deer, why don't you tell us how you come up with 100"? I showed you how I got 118", and it seems that my estimate is smack dab in with the majority.

You may be right, convince me. I've got no dog in this fight.
The same people calling this buck 118-120 called this buck I posted a 125,tell me again how the maturity of people makes this buck bigger?

This post has nothing to do with what Bryan asked you......shocking! What are your measurements to come up with 100"?????

I'm going with 115-120. I've got a buck on my wall that's almost identical to him.

Huh?

Here is what I come up with for the buck in the pic you posted:

L R
G1 2 1.5
G2 6.5 7
G36.5 6
G4 2.52.5
H1 55
H2 4.54.5
H3 3.5 3.5
H42.5 2.5
Beams 20 20

Sub 53 52.5

Spread17.5

Total 123"

So, again I'm right in with the others. You still haven't shown how you come up with 100". Post up some measurement estimates. Post up what you have for the buck in the above pic. Post up something other than mere words.

Dallas,
You don't seem to have any idea what you're talking about, which you've done a pretty good job of showing a couple times on here. Let me show you my numbers, and I've MEASURED deer before, so I tend to know a little bit.....

G1 - are 4.75 each or close = ---------------------------------> 9.5"
G2's are real close to 10" (look at the ears!!!) So that = another 20"
G3's are decent as well, I'll give him 6.5 -7" so there's another 13"
Beams are right on at 20" for me as well so --------------------> 40"

.................................................. ..................................... 82.5" (without INSIDE spread or mass)

H1's 4" each --------> 8"
H2's 3.5" each ------> 7"
H3's 3" each -------> 6"
H4's 2.5" each ------> 5"

Mass -------------> 26" So now were looking at 108.5 plus inside spread I gave him 122.5 here: http://www.huntingnet.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=3051852&mpage=1&key=&#305185 2 and I do agree, I'm not sure he's that wide, I only thought him to be about 14" inside spread, but that still puts him at a very healthy 122.5" and that's a NET guess, not a GROSS.

For the record that deer you posted is a deceiving picture because the hunter has his arms extended to make the deer look BIGGER, but even at that, I think he's a lot closer to 135." Now you tell me what it scored!!!!!! I bet I'm within 5" of the official NET score!!!!! Here's that original post, but I assure you that he doesn't have any 10-11" tines like you "thought" he did.... http://www.huntingnet.com/forum/tm.a...age=2&key= And if Schultzy called him a 132, then I'm real close as well. I agree, several of the guys on there had "no clue," but Go with your fellow Minnesotan, he's SHARP!!!

Hard to tell, and without reading any posts...

Gross around 115"?

I'm a rookie at this, still.
