Default Lost my first deer EVER

Well went bow hunting last night and had a deer 20 yrds. away I thought I hit him good the arrow went right behind the shoulder. But I might ah been slightly a lil high. But we had good blood for 100-150 yrds. Then NOTHING we looked around for a good hour or two but found nothing..... This really sucks shooting a deer and not being able to find it...

This could get ugly.

You need to get back out there. An hour or 2 is NOT long enough.

My guess is your ticket might be in some place thick or near water.

wow that sucks..when i hunt in the fall with no snow i use this neon thread from game tracker. It holds 200 yards of ultra tough neon spectra fiber and it will spool off your reel or where your stabilizer goes and its almost an instant. You should look into it...hard to trace blood sometimes in the fall.

Germ I was trying to get him to enlighten us on his shot more so we can help him understand. I find it hard to believe an arrow went threw a deer and there is nothing to be found!
