NJ doe on the ground
Yesterday was the first day I got the chance to get out. All set in my tree by 4:00... at around 4:45 I can see a nice doe moving my way, but she is about 60 yards away, across the power lines. At 5:30 she was now in range and turned broadside. Smack! Down she went within view.
Now I have one for the freezer and it is time to hunt for a Buck.
I would love to have the chance to get a nice one still in velvet, but the chances are getting slim for that as they are startingcoming out of velvet already.
