I'll Snyp one Ben and thanks Wayne, just gonna pick a hair and lay one down. The "miss" I had on a deer in NC was at very, very last light and I clipped some branches that were not there via the eye. A miss is a miss however it's not like I sent an errant arrow. ;) Redemption shall be sweet though. :D Specially on the grill. :)
Just getting around to head out now. Regardless on how the day goes, we're hunting and not working. :D |

I'll tell you all what, if Rob pretends any deer is a 3D target it is in SERIOUS trouble. That guy can flat out shoot the lights out.
Rob, isn't it unbelievable how deer can sneak up on you like that even when you are focussed and trying to hear and see them? Amazing creatures, no doubt. I tell you what, no matter what Germ and Rob say about GMMAT behind his back (joking obviously)he must be one heck of a guy to take these two to his new area and give them first crack at it. Heck, I'll thank you Jeff and I'm not even there. That is true generosity IMHO. I'd rather hand out my money than my hunting spots. |

What we thought was a poor hit.....ended up being an absolutely SMOKED mature NC doe. She's in the cooler....and I'll defer to the hunter who shot her for the details. This was one of my best spots.....and the sightings were slim. I had two come by me that looked like they were headed towards Rob. I let them pass.......and they skirted him, anyway. We'll be back on them again in about an hour. I wish them both luck, this evening.;) |
