Im in the same situation i hunt the gamelandson theelk/jefferson countylineand it seems like the game commission gave up on the food plots and it made consistently seeing deer in bow range difficult. last year was our groups best rifle season though.

You should hunt in Monroe co. I here they have 1.5 million deer there. ;)
That's where I'm moving out of and yeswe do. Problem is they're all on gated communities where hunting is prohibited. We're talking THOUSANDS of acres. They basically just hide out there... still wish I wasn't moving for the hunting aspect, but the new job is better!
