How often do you restring your compound bow?
 

I boughta used bow in highschool, which was about 10 years ago. The string is starting to look a little worse for wear, and I have it cranked up pretty tight. I haven't pulled it back in several years, but I am thinking about getting into it again. I am worried about the string snapping and slashing my face.

Should I have my bow restrung? Thanks.

YES! Without question. I restring every 12-18 month.

I restring my hunting and target bows every year..And I prefer to use the OEM string. Keep the warranty going..
