You probably want to get it restrung.

I see know reason to restring every year if you take good care of the string and keep it waxed. I shoot all year and have the same string with 3 years of shooting on it. Put a little wax on every couple weeks.

If your not confidentwith your equipment, replace it! I've had the same string on for 1.5 yrs now and is still in good shape. I put wax on mine pretty often though....
