My son just turned 12 and I want to make sure he will have a place to hunt. About the rules page one of the other members finished them yesterday and posted them. I didnt have a chance to read them untill today I have made the corrections. I hunt I Jo Davies County and in southern IL and want nothing more then to keep doing so. Im not very fond of the orange army that invades the woods in southern so I only Bow Hunt.

Robert, Please don't feel as if you have to "justify" your reasoning....you don't. Trust me, I understand what your doing, and it's cool. The whole "Doe, DNR, blah blah....was morein context of the entire state and the DNR's "plan" to fix it. That was not directed at you. I wish you nothing but success on your vision and plan for your grounds.

When you guys are done hugging, hike up your skirts and get out there and get hunting. :DJK. Good luck to you both and great that instead of complaining about outfitters driving you out or no place to hunt, that you are taking the initiative to do something about. Lord knows if somone in the area tried the same, I'd be tempted to join when my son is old enough to hunt. Some people might think that's steep but when you consider what some people pay to play golf every year, many months of bow season in prime conditions might be worth it.
