    Ive been shooting a recurve for a few months, but am thinking of getting a compound. I know nothing about them. I know asking for suggestions on a bow would be like asking for suggestions on a wife. I guess im asking what are some good brands for me to start looking into.

    Just go to a bow shop and shoot a bunch of them.

    Hoyt, Bowtech, Matthews, Reflex,PSE and Fred Bear just to name a few.

    I just bought a Parker RaptorXP two months ago, and love. I think they are worth a look.
