Pretty simple question. How early do you get ready for opening day. i.e getting clothes ready, pack your back pack, loading your quiver etc. i still have 5 days left but already have everthing ready and sitting i the mud room waiting.

Yesi'm goin nuts.

Just have to check batteries & do a rundown of what's in the pack and I'm ready to roll Monday am.

where is wentzville in mo. i dont think i've ever been there.

I start getting my stuff together a couple weeks before opener.

The prep started months ago.

I have to wash my pack....pack the Tundra....and I leave at lunch on Friday.

Hunt Saturday morning.

I slowly get ready, technically i can hunt for doe's right now, but i have been really busy. But i have been slowly preparing all my equipment for regular season in a couple weeks, at the same time im also gettin my stuff ready for my elk hunt which takes place a week after regular season deer starts. Day by Day i get everything ready a few weeks in advance that way I have time to locate everything, and get new things.

I start the week before opening day making sure that everything is washed and ready to go. The night before I spend checking my pack.

About 10 miles south of Troy or about 25 miles west of the Missouri River.
