I have a 40lb bow my draw is 25" I am shooting a 600gr arrow at 140fps can I use a 3" cut mechanical?

I am totally new to bow hunting have never shot a bow in my life.
Going deer hunting tomorrow I want to use a bow need advice on what bow, rest, sights, release, arrows and broad heads to buy this afternoon.

Where have all the deer gone?

What is scent control?

What is scouting and what do I look for?

If I pass gas and wearing a scent blocker suit will the smell sneak out?

I doubled lunged a deer and tracked it for 200 yrds then lost the blood trail do you think the deer will survive?

Where did I hit the deer?

Why is my 90# bow shooting 300 grain arrows so loud? I shoot with right helical fletching, would switching to left helical help?

A few of the strands on my string broke. is this a problem? Is my 90# bow enough for deer in south texas?

What is a " texas heart shot" ? Thats what my guide said I made on that big buck.

I just got my new bow and the advertised speed is 310--that' s all fine and dandy but when i shot thru the chrono i was only getting 309!!What is going on with all of the false advertising lately?Oh, almost forgot to mention that i was shooting 490 grain arrows with the tubing style peep, with a 10" draw and using fingers for my release.I CAN' T BELIEVE THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH THESE FALSE CLAIMS!!!I FOR ONE AM DONE DOING ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AND HOPEFULLY EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU WILL BE TOO!!SORRY ABOUT RAMBLING--I JUST HAD TO GET THAT OFF MY CHEST--THANKS

How about .......I need a high end bow, all the accessories,arrows, broadheads, good tree stand,camo, and probably a 4 wheeler ! I only have a $100 , what should I do ?

And I know I have never killed a deer with a bow, but I would never enter a trophy buck into any record book , ' cause it' s stupid !!

This has the potential for being one of the most humorous thread ever. Please keep it going. It brings a smile to my face every time that I read it.

Welcome to another one of JSASKER' S short and useless bow reports:

The bow i' m reporting on is the legendary B.M.H.(bowtech-mathews-hoyt hybrid)and i' ll start off with the looks first:
1. i did like the camo pattern at first but the more i look at it the more i wish it would have been done differently.
2.THE DRAW CYCLE--this bow starts out really smooth then gets extremely tough then back to smooth again--it took some getting used to.Almost forgot to mention the quaddroople cams that can spit arrows at 200 f.p.s.!yes you read correctly as i shot this thing thru the chrono 61 times and got 200 every time--very consistant!
3.THE FEEL--after shooting for 10 minutes straight i only had three blisters on my palm--i think that may be due to the custom porcupine grip(made from real porcupine, hope PETA doesn' t hear about that!).The balance was pretty good overall as long as you keep a tight grip--the top of the bow keeps tipping back towards me but i' m sure with a 3# stabilizer that will straighten right out.

I' LL TRY TO GET BACK WITH MORE DETAILS LATER AFTER THE BLISTERS STOP OOZING.

A// " How can I harvest a good buck?" I keep reading and seeing all these posts of great bucks you guys take, I only wish. Every year I spend plenty of time scouting, scent control, practice and all that good stuff. First deer I see, let him have it. What am I doing wrong? Any help or tips to get a good buck? Please reply

B// " What broadhead should I use?" I' ve been hunting with the bow for 35 years, the last 10 years I have used the same fixed 3-blade. In that time I have harvested 100 head of game, all complete pass throughs, great blood trails and most the animals have gone down with in eye sight. I have been thinking about switching heads, since their are so many new ones on the market. Please help me find the best BH for my setup? I just don' t feel I am maximizing my potential with my choice of BH.

C// " Help me decide what bow is right for me?" I have tried a great number and all but one has felt like crap. What should I do?
