Nice, short story, when I got a raise and promotion at work a few years back, my wife suggested maybe I do something hunting related for myself (I love her). I thought about a whitetail hunt with a reasonably priced outfitter and she said where would you go. I was thinking Wisconsin, maybe Buffalo County. She thought that was the funniest thing she had ever heard. But I was like hey, go where the deer are, even if its in your backyard. Never did go and won't know that we have more expenses, I mean kids. lol

Nice bow btw. I got my Buck Hunter four years ago and love it.

Buffalo county is on the top of the list for a lot of hunters. Myself included

And if you think the Buckhunter is a nice bow - go shoot the new Raptor or Blackhawk HOLY CRAP!!

I just talked to a guy in Buffalo county and he told me I could hunt at his place if I gave him a good price on some stuff.I gave him a hell of a deal we'll see what happens.

Private all weekend.

Just and FYI, straight from the WI hunting regs:
"Effective Dates
• All hunting licenses are effective immediately after purchase and with the opening
of the specifi c seasons, except Archery Licenses purchased after the opening of the
deer season.
•.
Archery Licenses purchased after the open season for deer begins are not valid
until 3 days after the purchase, excluding day of purchase (Example: A license purchased
on a Monday is valid on Thursday),"

Don't forge to get that license ahead of time. Only 4 more days!

On the fence yet. May stay local and stick to Southern Richland County. My other option is Southern Juneau county an hour up Hwy 58.

Do you hunt any public land in Richland county? I know there isn't a whole lot, but I am curious to know what kind of pressure it gets.
