Like some previous posts said, shoot them all then buy the one you like best. Some things you can skimp on but most archery equipment you get what you pay for.... That being said, find out what you like then shop around for the best deal on it.

Go and shoot a bunch... i went and shot a few.. and I came home with the Mathews DXT... you go and shoot a few you might come home with a Hoyt Katera... whatever is best for you... b/c quite honestly... you're opinion is the only opinion that matters...

Ya your going to have to shoot them.. I shot the new General this year and loved it but also shot the DXT.. Over and over.. lol I'm waiting to see what Mathews comes out with this year, if nothing great then I will probably buy a DXT cuz that is one sweet shooter in a really small package.. Only thing I would change is the grip and maybe add a draw stop..

But go shoot a few and let us know what you decide...

I should start a poll asking why every single newbie that comes along starts the same exact which bow thread. Uugh.[&:] I know the search function is slightly a PITA but seriously.
