I once heard, if you don't like the way something is being done, get involved. I always thought that working with the NBEF would be a great time. Keep in mind, these classes are designed for the beginnner, but if you noticed, treestand safety was discussed in length...so if that saves on person from falling and getting injured or killed, it was beneficial.

I have to agree that the issue is with the instructors making an opinion on something...just because choose to shot expandables, doesn't make it unethical..however in some states it is illegal.

The bowhunter course is designed to teach safety, tracking and hunting skills, not how to shoot. I compare it to a first time driver going for his driving test. Many can ace the written and driving test, but it sure doesn't make they an experienced driver.[/align]

The instructor i had for my test was awful as well. We sat around, he told hunting stories, he went over the test, question by question, then we took the test and were gone. Did all of this in about and hour and we were out of there...[&:]
