Default careful praticing

I was shooting field tips last night thankfully, one sunk up to the feathers and I typically just pull it through the target. This time it was a tuffer than normal for some reason so I jerked the heck out of it... right into the side of left knee. The arrow sunk to the bone and hurt like all hell. I cleaned it out good and watching for infection .. so be careful when pulling arrows

I did that once with broadheads...I just switched over to broadheads and forget that I wasn't using field tips anymore. I placed my hand on the target and pulled...thumped 3 of my fingers and sliced em up real good.

Lesson learned on that one? Hopefully that turns out alright. Another thing to watch out for is, a guy I know was leaving his tree stand and an arrow fell out of his quiver and the nock stuck in the dirt and as he walked over it the blade went in his inner thigh about 3 or 4 inches. Lucky he had a cell and knew how to put a turnikit on.

solved the biggest portion of the problem today, to my cheap butt and bought a new target, the arrows were sinking to the nock in one I had, seems like a lot of last minute accidents right before season, starting to have red circle put some anitbiotics on it and doesn't clear soon hit theDr season opens next Sat
