Ok Gary called me back and said to make sure i had the washer with flat side against the blades. There is a rounded side and a flat side... so I did it, and it made it a little better, but they are not fixed. Now, I have not tried to tighten them with the a wrench like he said, I don't have one, but he said to use one so I will try and find one, hope that works. If it doesn't, I still don't see it causing much of an issue. The blades are not going anywhere, they just make a hum in flight, but no more than the sound of some fletchings I have heard. But I will try everything I can to get em right. Andy, first week back has been great, I start off the first day threating to write a few kids up and they were scared to death. No problems at all bro! Yes they seem to do it on all arrows.

No problems with any of mine, and my practice head has been shot hundreds of times. Is it just ONE head??? Maybe you could put new blades in it and see if that cures the problem??? Being a touch loose I'd expect that they may fly a little odd also. Just wondered???

They fly just like my field points, no problems from what I can tell. I as far as I can tell, they all do it on all my arrows...maybe it's just the wrench or lack there of, I may not be getting them on tight enough. Germ I like that! Update...I went up stairs and tried my new ones on my arrows and they all seemed fine. It's seems it's just one head, in fact it seems to be just the set of blades in that head. I switched the blades out with new ones and no rattle... What could be the deal with the blades???? I mean they have hit some concrete and wire fence and the inside of the leg of a delta target!! Although it was rattling before I ever shot it. Im going to get some new heads and replacement blades and roll on.

RE: Anyone have this issue with slick tricks?

I just got into it with Slick Trick on Friday. I was wondering where the RazorTricks were that I need for the woman's setup. Of course they're on the way, but the last two years with Slick Trick has been rough to say the least.
I think that going to Germany for the blades was a mistake, or Gary should have handled it differently. The biggest reason that I know of that he went there for his blades was that too many people said the blades weren't sharp enough out of the package. I could agree that the original ST blades though may not have been shaving sharp, were sharp none the less. I always check all my blades even through out the season for quiver wear and what not. I guess my biggest question was how many of the complaints he heard came from people that pull the same arrow every time in the stand and never check to sharpen them? You can't please everybody.
I digress though. I also asked them why my last 2 packages of ST's the blades just wouldn't seem to tighten down. The reply I got from the young lady was that was a FERRULE problem and not a blade problem. I was surprised she didn't ask me to send them in or replace them. Is it all of the ones you have or just like one of out of a package that's doing it? I'm also surprised that Gary didn't admit to you that there has been a problem with ferrules, but I'm sure he's been fielding a lot of complaints lately.
