what do you guys eat when hunting.
Do you leave for lunch or stay in the stand.Last year i ate in the stand unless i left before noon.I either took a couple peanut butter and honey sandwiches or egg sandwichs with me.
Ihate sitting right there in my stand. i also madesure the foodwas in a zip lock bag.
Would the smell be a issue.

i usually just take a few sandwiches, but i will say this last yeari took a doe and a buck while drinking a dr.pepper...either had to put it between my legs or sit it near my feet! couldnt believe it!

Anything with carbs if it is cold...i take a pop, a water and some granola bars, some cookies and a couple pbj's plus hard candy...

I know what not too eat while hunting....a bag of Combo's.. have you ever tried to open a bag of those up while hunting :D!!

I do weight lifting and prob take a few proteinbars along with trail mix and water. They work quite well to keep your body fed between meals.

Granola and vitamin water. Something like that, quick and easy, that will keep me alert.

I take a knife and a torch and have a meal of squirrels, birds, and the occasional raccoon.[8D]

I usually eat something on the way out and just bring a pop or water with me.

i drink a 5 hour energy before i hit the stand and i usually leave my stand around 10 and get back in about 4:45but i also chew some levi garret or dip some husky it keeps me awake

I take granola barsor peanut butter sandwiches to eat and either water or apple juice to drink. I think any smell that might be picked up by deer would only encourage them to come in.

I don't eat anything while hunting. I don't drink anything since I have a small bladder.

usually a pepsi and a can of copenhagen whiskey blend, it keeps me alert and wards off those hunger pains til mid afternoon or so

Peanut butter crackers,rootbeer barrels,Hershy bars w/almonds,bottle or 2 of water and a pack of Marlboro's

I don't ever eat anything while on stand, but I almost always have something to eat on the drive out there.

But while on stand, a bottle of water and my Red Man are all I need:D

In camp we try to mix it up, one day we have eggs and fried taters, next day eggs mixed with ham, next day eggs mixed with hot dogs, next day eggs mixed bacon, next day throw some cheese on the eggs, on Sundays we mix every thing we have left over in the cooler with yes, you guessed it, Eggs!

Molassis and Corn sandwiches. That way if the Game Commission comes over i can explain that i simply was offering the deer one of my sandwiches when my gun went off killing him....Its tragic....
