Default Broken Limb on mathews outback

Went and put a new sight on my outback to day and was grouping good at 20 yds at the range. Then it kinda started shooting funny and couldn't get a group to save my life after ahour of shooting and trying to find what it was myform, arrows, rest,I examined the bow and found the lower limb had a 5 inch long and 1/4 inch wide sliver coming off the edge of it so I went to the counter and got new limbs on order and the tech said to keep shooting.

My question is could this cause bad groups or is it just me.

Yes it will cause bad shooting.

DO NOT shoot that bow until it has new limbs on it!

My question is why would this tech tell you to continue shooting a bow with a limb that may fail? [&:]

i'm certainly no expert on archery but i know enough to know that shooting a bow in that condition is a bad idea. the whole limb could snap at full draw and hurt you and the bow

that tech should have definitely not told you to keep shooting it . that is crazy to tell you to keep using it when it is failing

he might as well have told you to dry fire the bow untill the string comes off and slices your wrist open.
