Thanks guys, Ben and my highschool buddy Blaine were up and shot all evening. I pointed out my treestand down in the woods and from there I could probably shoot my targets...LOL Ben and I looked over the pictures on the camera and we did have a couple pics of him on the 22nd so that's 5 times he's been through there at least. We know there has to be more. If he keeps up what he's doing as his pattern that should put me in a good spot come opening week.

I'm probably only going to hunt him before work every weekday. That seems to be when he's coming through anyway. The times have been 6:45, 6:40, 7:20, 6:22, 7:22. All daylight times.

PS, Ben and slowed it down and really tried to be accurate and we came up with 117"....depends on how he finishes out which in reality he's all but done and hardening. Really depends on how accurate we were on tines, main beams and mass.

pss, I honestly think he's only a 2.5 year old as well.

I think his buddy is a better buck for you! He looks like a spike and a fork.[:-] J/K
Nice buck!!! Hoping to see your hands wrapped around his antlers! Good luck!

Here's some more video of that buck from this morning. It's a little better and you get a real good look at him.

Yeah, first impressions I was thinking 3.5 but watching the second part of the video I'm thinking different however, as he fills out he might full us.

I didn't read all the replies, but that is no Rob Buck. He's much too big to be a Rob Buck.[8D] Wait on something smaller.

Oct 4th so it's just over a month away still. Let's hope he keeps his summer pattern.

David, what qualifies him is his unusual 3 X 5 rack. [8D] Hey my first one would have been a 130" r had he not broken his rack.

Rob - I know I'd shoot that deer without a moment's hesitation. Really nice deer. I'd like to know if his assymmetry is purely genetic, or if he might have some minor injury.

Only one way to find out...
