You could always run for president of the united states, I hear the jobs open and from what I'm seeing it doesn't require any particular skills or knowledge.[:-]

I'd do that, but I hear Peakrut is already got that one in the bag!

I put my application in for two more state jobs last night. We'll just have to see what happens, as long as it happens soon!

Drivers are a valuable asset to companies. A clean driving record and self discipline are required. maybe starting your own delivery company wold serve you well.
Hospitals and law offices are god starting points.

Mark, sorry to hear you didn't get that job. I thoughtfor sure you would have gotten it with your background. There are other jobs out there, it's just not the best time (economy wise) to be searching. I'm in the process of finding a new job as well. This too, shall pass. I hope quickly!![:@]

Good luck in your search. The only thing with your own delivery co. is the cost of fuel, eating into your profits.

How are you with

Biology--3 classes (I can pretty much get all that done my self, it is my major)
Philosophy--Logic/Critical Reasoning
Literature--Currently reading "Beowulf"
Advanced Algebra--I hate math

I'm only a sophomore, so it shouldn't be too difficult for you. I can't pay too good, but I have a futon in my room and our house has 8 bedrooms. It is kind of known as a "party" house, but you don't have to partake. PM for more details.

Surely you are not asking me to do your college assignments are you? If I were to do that, you'd have to hand your degree over to me. None of those subjects are difficult, buck up and get 'er done.

Well, I found out I didn't get the job because I worked for the prosecution side while on active duty and the public defender's office decided to hire a liberal out of college instead of the experienced old dog. Then, I found out it will be another month before I get my retirement pay because some people like to get paid for doing nothing. I'm gonna have to crap a mortgage payment in the meantime. This could get really crappy before it's all over.

Anyway, anybody want to hire a broken down retired military person?
If you lived in Texas, I could use you part time. I need someone to grind lams for me, so i can get some bows built on time.
