Depending on how long you have to look at him... if you can guestimate 19 inches of tine on one side then it will be P&Y. If it is split second, then the OMG factir really comes into play!:DAnd really, if it isn't an OMG moment, then is it really worth it regardless of the score?

What has helped me more than anything is getting your hands on a rack, guessing it and scoring it and compare. Being a found dead buck, yours or a friends. score alot, itdoes help!! :)

In IL where I'm headed there is a 130" minimum.
I can't imagine hunting somewhere that had enough of these running around that they could bring in a year's worth of hunters and expect they'd have enough of these to go around.

Amazing.....and I wish you luck!;)

i have a hard time judging them sometimes too. I mainly look for tine length and the spread.

I know Jeff, it'll be an experience. I know Kurt's taxidermist says he passes 140's now that he's been there a few times. Last year he and his friend both shot 150's. Both Justin and Todd told me there ARE 200"rs walking but they are 1 in a zillion...lol

I've also been invited to hunt with Todd on his farms.
