RE: Hey LW stand guys.....

A little tip that works for me.... First time I was messing around with the new GWW straps I pulled to far toloosen them to take the stand off my back and the strap pulled thru the buckle....

So this doesn't happen again I tied the very end of the straps in a little knot. The kind of knot you make a loop and pull the tag end thru. Works awesome.

Correct... I had no trouble tying it at all though. I would take a pic but I have my stand stored outside, it is dark outand the skeeters are mean [8D]

I think I'll just have someone (mother in law?;))maybe sew them a 1/2 or so from the end (double it up and sew it on the sewing machine so that it won't go through the buckle).

Thanks, though, Scott.....the thought is a good one!

That would work great.... I don't think it would hurt to have that done to your stabilizer straps as well. I can see cold fingers and trying to thread the nylon strap back thru the buckle not working so well. [8D]

Is there anything significantly different about these straps when compared to neoprene rifle slings? They don't look different at all except that the nylon part of the strap is bit wider......just curious.

Kamil....it's got it's good points and one bad, so far.

I love the packability; ease of actually packing it up; weight; ability to shoot from a sitting position (huge;)).

Will have to get used to the seat.

HATE the upper climber portion....only in that it's so light (wants to fall when climbing). Maybe it'll be better when I use it as a hand climber, exclusively.

I'm gonna really love it, eventually.....I can already tell that.
