There's a buck without a tail on my farm that'smaking me want to pushthe fast forward button to 2010. He's a 2-1/2 year old this year and isa nice little 8 point. I saw him last year as a little 4 point. Not that he's going to be a giant two years from now, but he's easily recognizable and I want to prove to everyone around here that a small buck can and most likely will turn into a nice buck once they reach maturity. Here's a picture of him from July.

Your hunter numbers cannot be as bad as NJ. I've seen every buck that I passed last year, this year AND some new ones.
I think the fact that our farm is bordered by the largest Hunterdon County park system, affords us the ability to see the same deer year after year, as they have refuge, as well as limited hunters. Limited in this area, though- the rest of the state is ridiculous.
I don't think I've ever seen a buck that I passed or pictured that I EVER saw again. Curse of the PA hunter numbers.

No picture of him yet this year, but I had a 6 point 1.5 yr od deer last year that had at least 10 in brows. They were huge. I will let him go this year again, if I see him.
