Default Opinion on Hoyt Trykon

So I am buying a Hoyt trykon 75th anv.

From a member on the site here. Comes with basically everything I could possibly want on a new (well new to me) bow.

Anyways, my question. Has anyone shot the hoyt trykon before .. this would be the 06 edition. it also has the 70-82# limbs..

Just figured I'd get a few opinions from people with more exp on newer bows as mine is 8 yrs old.

I've heard good reviews about it but never shot one.

Great bow. It's just the '06 version of the Vectrix, which is the '07 version of the Katera. There reallyisn't much difference between them, other than a few fps.

I shoot one and love it. The draw cycle is a little harsh but I like it.Get an STSand you're ready to roll.

I have a question, why didn't you buy mine[&:]

I love my Trykon, can't ask anymore out the bow. Quiet, smooth, heavy, and fast enough (yes, heavy....I like that)

Only complaint, no back screw for a MeanV

I figure if I am pulling between 70-80#I have bigger things to worry about than holding a 7-8 lb bow

I love mine. Are you getting the XT or XL? Mine's the XL.
