I guess you missed the listing a couple years ago for a guy who was auctioning off HIMSELF to be shot with a compound bow in the ass!?[:-] (The first line in the item description was "My pain your gain!" )

THAT was the dumbest auction on Ebay ever.........everything else starts at #2.

My father in law has been carrying a spit toon like that for years, I just clear out a spot in the dirt before entering the tree and haven't had any issues with it....Like you said it takes all kinds, everyone has a different way of handling these type ofthings and we all have different thoughts on what works and what don't....I guess there are very few absolutes when it comes to hunting.....
