I'm off to fair chase antelope
#1
Yep, This weekend I will be fair chasing pronghorn on BLM land in Northcentral Colorado. The truck is loaded to the hilt with gear including: two bows (one shoots arrows at 350 fps), one crossbow (to be used via special permit by a terminally ill cancer patient), range finders, ATVs, 12 power binoculars, spotting scopes, camo gear, ground blinds, decoys, tent, cots, sleeping bags, coolers stocked with ample food and water,...all the good stuff! When I look at at this stuff I cannot help but to think "surely this hunt will be a gaurantee". Seriously, two antelope might as well toss in the towel!
It's amazing how cancer, a stroke, an IED has a way of leveling the playing feild. It's amazing how many of us take for granted the things we have. It's amazing how the blonde hair/ blue eyed beer drinking Arian hunters impose their ethics...Amazing!
Be thankful for what you have... do it legally, do it your way!

Good luck out there but you can never guarantee an antelope. Specially with a bow. As easy as it seems driving down the road it is quite a challenge. I think it is easier to hunt elk than antelope!
