Default How much a deer really costs.

A guy from work and I were talking about Whitetail Freaks and the subject of food plots and theman hours it takes to do one. These guys are literally spending thousands of dollars on fields for the chance to get 1 monster of a deer. I could never afford to do that. Thinking about it though with stands, clothing, calls and whatever else, I figure (more ofa guess) I"ve spent at least3 grand. Guessing, what do you suppose you have spent? And this would be the price you are actually paying for a deer. No regrets here though!!

HUNTING.... Worth every penny.

Hell try spear fishing... Season is all year on most fish in Tampa bay. 150 gas (boat) every day trip (and thats between 4 ppl)+ I have over 6k in gear for diving.. not couting tank fills etc...

I used to spearfish 4 times a week a 800 dollar +a week habit for fish I could buy for maybe 300 (i shot a lot of fish).

Needless to say I quit spearfishing so 3k a year I am more than happy to spend. =)

This yr about 1,400.00 so farplus another 200.00 if I get a muly, the 200 is for a speed goat tag, then the 28.00 for Mn tag, another 28 or so for rifle tag(crossbow in rifle season).........But really money isnt the issue here, maybe for some it is but if you worry to much about the COST you wont enjoy the real prize......The Hunt.....
