What broadhead setup should i use
#1
shooting 64lbs 29in draw with ics arrows i was thinking 100gr muzzys would work well? also will that set up be ok for 40yrds? or should i keep them to around 30 and under?

I would hold off for a little while.
Rumor on the street is that Arrow Dynamics is set to release a follow-up to their immensely popular "Gobbler Guillotine."
The new head is supposed to fly just like a field point and have a 45" cutting diameter.A well-placed arrowwill shear the head right off of a mature whitetail.

100 Gr muzzy will do you just fine. I cant see that a Deer Decapitator is going to legal in all states as most states require the head to be attached to the deer at the time of registering the deer, I can see a deer decapitator being a big flop and cost millions in production.

I forget the exact KE they recommended for the head, but it wasn’t much more than that needed for the over the top expandables.

Muzzys would be a great choice and will work just fine for you at any range you can accuratly shoot. Now on the other hand the Deer Decapitator sounds interesting to me, I just wonder how it will do in my broadheadtests? I guess I will have to get a semi truck tire, a full sheet of plywood, and a biggest drum I can find to test that thing!!

Sounds like you could shoot probly any broadhead you wanted to and I bet you would be good out to 40 yds.
I will pass on the deer decapitator. I might want to have one mounted sometime!
