I can hit some lung at 60 with my single pin Cobra. Steady....steady....aim small miss small

Throw wind into the picture and its all over for me.

i was useing my 20 yard pin at 0 to 20 i had not got a place i could shoot 30 or 40 untill i set my home range up
When i did i knew my 30 pin would be off i was off about 6 to 8inch high IT took one shot and i could guest where it need to be at for a 30 yards shot but it will get moved soon. because i am not setting that low on a deer for no reason.
I figure i have one at 20 one at 30 one at 40 i might go to 50 with my 40 yard pin if i do enough long range practice.
My main spot will not have a shot longer then 15 most will be less

Ya make me feel bad. I shoot one pin an its sighted in at 17 yds an raisethe pin for the needed distance. I know what my bow will do out to 40 yds max. Never shot a deer over 27 yds in20 years. What am I doing wrong ?

So can a guy shoot a pin to 40 yards. YUP.
No he can't David......unless he's sighted in for that pin at 40yds. And that would render it uselss at 20.

He can shoot instictive or whatever he wants to call it. But the claim they were trying ot make is.....that he could put his top pin on the target and shoot there to 40yds (and everything below).

Can't be done.

I can shoot a single pin out to 80 yards and I don't have to hold over the target. I put the pinon the target and squeeze the trigger and whala, the arrow hits the target.

I don't know what's wrong with the rest of you guys, it's really not that dificult.

Well I guess his set-up defies the laws of physics. I may have been wrong about what he is sighted in for. I can tell you this for sure- its the real deal.
Must be. He would have to be sighted in for 43 yards to be 5" low at 50 assuming 360fps.

That is a sweet sight but I did not want to spend the extra money so I bought the 5500 and made my own tape....

10+ inches of compensation at 70 yards, imagine how deadly he would be if he used the correct number of pins[:-]
Hey, dont rag on me- I have 5 pins in my site. He actually does super well with his set-up. He's not afraid to shoot far at all. His goal this year is 90yards, der harvest.

At what distance is he sighted in dead on for?
I believe 20yards...He is pulling 96lbs and if I can recall correctly, he is shooting in the 350-360fps range, if not faster

We use guns for that.
I hear ya there!

At 90 yards his pin most likely covers the entire deer and then some.....
