What's your most essiential "other".

You get your License, Fully Equipped Bow, Arrows, Release, Knife,Stand (or Blind), Camo of choice, Safety Harness.

Now you only get 1 more of your usualitems, to take to the woods. What do you pick?

My cell phone. Last thing I want is for my stand to fall out from under me and be hanging from the tree and not be able to get a holdof help, or call for some help to drag the deer out.

Some pretty solid choices here..I can make a case for virtually all of them!

I can however rough it without the water, compass, mapor thermacell, in my neck of the woods.

If I'm going in absolutey bare-bones with just what you listed plus one more, it's having the game cart in the Jeep where I'm parked... 275-lb. deer don't drag tooeasy for a mile.

RE: What's your most essiential "other".

Good call... I can always go home and get the cart, even if it is an hour's drive.

The flashlight HAS to be there. :)

I would say thermacell butyou dont give a time of season so assuming i would hunt later in the season i could leave it at home so ill have to say compass. i hunt the national forest in michigan and it is easy to get turned around in the dark or when tracking.

I will be putting the flute to use this coming season.
But since I hunt afternoon and evenings a lot I would go with the flashlight.

You HAVE to have a flashlight, so I’m going to already count that.

My “other” would be a grunt call. One that makes grunts, bleats etc.
