GMMAT-I may be small but I sure am smaort-I am starting my 52nd year of Bowhunting Biggame & still enjoy it. I shot my 1st Deer with a bow in 1958 when I was 15.
I even go hunting hogs when it's 95 dagrees & drive 14-16 hours just to get into the woods to hunt them-just got back 1st week of June with TWO. I know when to fold em (now) since I lost a car in a poker game once. I guess I know lots of things after this many years-just to stupid to always follow directions.
Good Luck to all this season....
Oh, what did I learn today-MY FAMILY is "STILL" the most important thing in my life....

Winning isn't everything, but when you lose WInning is everything. Lost a champion club trap shooting match ( team event ) today. The team that beat us has alot lower average then us, gudos to them, feeling a little down right now but there is always next year.

Not to shoot my bow in my backyard. Okay, I am a really good shot, but an arrow got away from me and went throughmy neighbors woodenfence with a G5 broadhead.[:@][:-]:(

It really shook me up, because if someone had been in that yard it could have killed them. I have never had this happen until tonight and I've been shooting forever. However, I will never risk that again. I'm only shooting in an open field behind my house from now on. I just can't get over it!!! :(:(:(

We've all made mistakes, be thankful that nothing incredibly bad happenend. You learned a lesson and were humbled. You are obviously beating yourself up, and posted here knowing that the possible flames you may recieve, could not make you feel worse. I take my hat off to you, for your sincerity and humility.
