All my stands are along deer highways in good ambush points. One along the cornfield. One along the trail that cuts behind the big pond to the cornfield. One next to my food plots. One along the trail to another pond (watering spot). I still need to get one more in the oak grove, but that'll have to wait until I am employed again, which will hopefully be next Tuesday!!!

Iam setting mine up tomorrow (I'm way behind schedule), but 3 always go in the same place and I just picked up 2 more I need place. I take them down after every season but when I find the good spots I won't rotate.

I think you're OK. I try to combine any stand movement with a hunt in the same area to combine multiple disturbances into one. Waiting for a windy, rainy day will help too. Did the USMC issue you an umbrella?
