Default Goals for the Season!

What are your goals for the season?

Well, for me im bumping my standards up. I have shot 3 1.5 yr bucks with my bow and haven't shot a doe. This year I plan on taking a doe or two, which is my goal every year with the bow, but never pans out for me. As far as shooting my buck it has to be 125" or better for me to take it. I have grown up now, its time to let the little ones walk!!

I plan on getting my first kill, then take a buck for the competition!

Also want to taste a fawn, shot by me or some1 else, compared to a mature doe.

My goal is to take at least 2, hopefully 3 does with my bow. And at least a 2.5 year oldbuck or better (hopefully 8 points+ on the rack).I killed a 1.5 year old 6 point in 2006 with my bow, and its time to move up

1. Remove 8 does from the herd I'm hunting (me or someone hunting with me).
2. Learn the new lands I'm hunting
3. Take a buck I will be proud of.....or don't take one
4. As was the goal in '07.....to NOT release an arrow that I am not proud of

That's it.

1. find an area to hunt-(just moved states)
2. take at least 1 doe and 1 buck at least as large as the bucks I have killed in the past (110-115 inch) and mount him myself.
3. have enough deer meat to last me and my wife until next season.

1. Shoot 3 does per property (3x2=6)
2. Shoot one good buck for the wall. If he ain't wall worthy, he ain't getting shot.
3.Be safe!
4. Have fun.
5. Enjoy company of new friends here in SC.
