Both are very similar heads, I was torn which one to have my wife shoot last year. The montecs are a tougher more durable head but have a 1/16 less cutting diameter and arent as sharp as the hell razorsout of the box. Its a toss up, my wife shot the hellrazors and was 4 for 4 on deer last year with the biggest being a 140" 8pt that field dressed 200lbs. None of the deer she shot made it over 60 yards.

Montecs for two reasons....

1) Montecs are machined from a single piece of metal.... the NAPs are welded together.... doesn't take a machinist or an engineer to figure out which is stronger.... although its really almost academic

2) The montecs are made out of a harder steel that holds its edge better. Granted, it is slightly more difficult to resharpen, but that is worth the effort.

Both of them are a solid design though, and about as idiot proof a device as you'll find.

Go with the Hellrazors! They are the sharpest blades you can find. Its a fact same metal you can find in a surgeons tool.

I have tesed both for my website. G5 heads are slightly stronger, Hellrazors are sharper. Both shoot accuratly and penetrate very well. I would toss a coin or see which one you can get a better deal on.
