Default Thermacell Holster

Does anyone use 1 of these? I thought about getting 1 and strapping it to my leg while in the stand. Last year I kicked it off a couple times and couldn't figure a way to mount it. But I've heard that you're not suppose to have the thermacell attached to you. Supposed to be laying flat. Is there any truth to that?

Mine burns way better when layin' flat. The burner gets more heat which makes the pad burn off more....

I agree. Lay it flat. Something I do is use the holster to hang it from a branch or my stand.

strap your holster to your stand somewhere, under the seat, on a back corner or something. It's got to be flat to work best.

I have the holster and it works well. Lay it flat like the others have said. But there's no way in Hades that I'd strap it to my leg.

I just find a crook in the tree right next to me, and stick it in there. Seems to work for me.

Buy the Holster, itcomes withtwo side pockets that hold an extra Butane bottle and several extra scent pads. I agree it works best when laid flat, but it will work hanging up as well.
