Usualy if the .029 pins are blurring it could be cause they are to bright and are getting a halo effect. I prefer .019 pins with a light, if they arent bright enough in certain situations you can always turn on your light.

Many guys stagger the pin size from smaller to larger. larger for longer shots smaller for closer shots. Rob will probably pop in but I believeI remember that heshoots .010 pins.

I would think larger pins would only make your situation worse. Do you wear glasses? Recent eye exam? Do you shoot a sight with an extension arm?

I always thought they staggered them using larger pins close and smaller pins for longer shots because the smaller pin would cover less of the target.

Could be Passthru..I'm not sure, it's not a practice I use.

It's actually the opposite of this. I use .019 for my top two pins and .010 for my bottom 3. Smaller pins cover less of your target (which will appear smaller at longer ranges). Passthru is correct.

.029 is pretty big. I wasn't even aware they made one, LARGER.
