Yea at night all the deer are nocturnal here. We have a lot of pressure so they jsut stay in the swamps till late i havnt seen a buck with more then forks in 3 seasons.

You need to scout the otehr hunters more than the deer. Learn how tehy will affect the bucks travel, and then get on them.
Exactly DT! I started a thread about this exact subject a while ago. If you're hunting public land, you BETTER know where the other hunters are going, and not going, if you expect tokill a buck.

Yea me and a buddy hunt a leased piece by our friends dad. This is the first season me and him will have it to ourselves and be able to hunt it how ever we want. We have found a nice shed 2 years ago with a 13 inch drop so there are big deer in there. I live in cape may county thats about as far south as you can get a lot more houses than woods but what are you gonna do. Im hoping this year we will get to see some deer. I want to try and take a doe with my recurve.
