How important is a Stabalizer?

On a scale of 1 to 10.

10 being important as a broadhead.

1 being important as pink socks.

I voted 1. It is all about what feels best to the shooter. Some guys like to add weight while others just want extra vibration dampening. Some want both.

I use the Sims Mini S-Coil stabilizer. More for dampening purposes than anything else though. As heavy as the Vectrix XL is, it doesn't need more stabilization.;):D

I had to vote three, just because they can be useful. I put an s-coil on my switchback xt just for vibration dampening. The thing is so well balanced that I did not feel adding weight was needed. I have not shot it without the s-coil, so I can't speak to how much that is truly needed. I just figured it would look naked without it when I was buying, so that is what I went with.

For sure PT. But I'llbe honest, I like my bow beingheavybecause it really does make itstable when shooting. That bow seriously spits them!!All I have to do is carry it to my stand. It sits in the bow holder of my LW, so the weight isn't an issue tome while hunting.;)
