I use the Loggy Bayou Transformer Safety System. Costs is around $80. Lighter and easier to use, IMO, than the vest type. You can also hook your binos to it, which i like to do. Its definitely my top pick for harneses.

I use the SOP pants fastback. The vest types sytems like HSS are very nice but I like the lower profile models.

I use the HSS. Simple, safe and comfortable. Only downside is that it is one of the more expensive harnesses.

I use the seat of the pants harness system and can't understand why some still refuse to wear one.Not only do they save from falling when hunting but are an invaluable tool when setting up a stand.

I had my son take this picture today when I was setting up my stand, notice how I am hands free.

I use the one that came with my stand, a $24.99 value free with the purchase of any tree stand.

Me too about 95% of the time.
How does that "fall guy" system work with a climber? I thought it was for permanent stands. Thanks

When it comes to hunting from a treestand please where a harness. I know people that were only 10 feet and got paralyzed. Please Please wear one! If not for yourself think of your family your injury would have an impact on. Personally I dont think you can beat a Hunters Safety System. Its comfortable plus it has pockets for all of your gear.

I just got done watching a video about Mike McCabe's story. It really is sad to see something like this happen. Anyone that does not wear a safety harness should watch this video regardless of the height you hunt at. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aqfkK3h2jqM

I keep mine hooked to the trees I use my climbers on. It stays there through out the season. When I get there the strap is fully extended from my last decent. (hook it to the climber) It goes up with me as I climb. Some might not be able to leave their stuff in the woods like I can here so this isn't for everyone. The main thing is to have some brand of safety device on from ground to top and back. Chris
