I have a piece off their equipment because of the functionality of the piece, not becuase of the scent free claims.
Which is why I use them, Bob. If they DO help, though.........;)

$169 pants that I paid $89 for. $149 jacket that I paid less than $100 for. I needed camo.

If they help.....they help. If they don't.....it's STILL good camo.

well if you used scent killer in your washer you could kill the scent before it went in the drier

One other thing, the three chemistry professors here at the university where I work also say the carbon cannot be reactivated by following the manufacturers use and care instructions. Jeff, I don't for a minute think they will hurt your chances. I just don't think they will help one iota.
As I've said before, I believe the people at scent-lok used the wrong terminology. No, you can't re-activate carbon in the dryer, but you can drive off enough of the scent molecules being ADSORBED to the surface by heating them in the dryer, rendering the garment useful again.

to me it seems the layers over layers are to control more scent as one layer gets full with scent then next absorbs the scent and so on. so the vest is just another layer to help absorb it

Don't think your supposed to use stuff like that in the washer, with scent lok, and if all you need is scent killer in your washer why buy scentlok??

Let me ask you a question, PT....

If you're of the mindset that SL products work.....and one suit is good......

Wouldn't two suits (one over the other) be "better"? You have to know (no matter which "side" you're on) that "some" scent escapes through the garments.

So answer that for me....and you'll answer why it "might" be helpful.

Your body releases most of it's odor from the hot spots on your body .....a vest covers NONE of said hot spots .....
