Man we should try and get together, depending on how my taxidermy season goes and how the weather is. Last time I went to visit during Christmas, I was coming down the mountains in WV in 4" of snow and no other tracks at all!! Scary as all get out. But it's a definite possibility.

Bellefonte is all over this thread, my wife's family lives on the hill above the hoffbrau. I usually tote the smokepole after christmas. Last year I hunted at a quarry down 550 by the 220/26 interchange. Where I hunt the deer are few and far between after Christmas and are pretty skittish.

Txjourneyman, you'll have to have passed a hunter safety course to hunt in these eastern states. I know you Texas boys just pack and shoot whenever. LOl I don't know what part of Ohio you're in, but the Maryland bow season runs until Jan 31st. Tons of big woods in Western Maryland free of charge with easy access from Ohio.

Thanks David. I do have my Hunter Ed card though. Someone had to go with my nephew when he took his. I was the only one that cared enough. I'm glad I did too!
